Objective: through the Meta analysis of serum HE4and CA125andcombination of both assay in the diagnosis of ovarian cancer arediscussed. Methods: through PubMed, Elsevier Science, Springer, CNKI, etc.database retrieval between2006January to2013December, the relevantliterature, according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria strictscreening of the literature. Extraction of literature data and four tables, the included studies using QUADAS evaluation tool details. Quality evaluation. The Meta-Disc1.4software is used for statistical analysis, analysis and treatment of heterogeneity proper effect model merging effect value, the sensitivity, specificity and merger merger with likelihood ratio of forest map, making SROC curve. Results: A total of1046Chinese and English papers were retrieved, after screening20articles can be incorporated into the study. By Meta analysis with effect size: HE4sensitivity was0.70, specificity was0.92, the positive likelihood ratio was8.65, negative likelihood ratio of0.31, the area under the SROC curve (AUC) was0.9116; the sensitivity of CA125was0.79, the specificity was0.80, the positive likelihood ratio was3.97, negative likelihood ratio of0.28, the area under the SROC curve (AUC) was0.8678; The combination of the two sensitivity was0.88, specificity was0.75, the positive likelihood ratio was3.62, negative likelihood ratio of0.16, the area under the SROC curve (AUC) was0.9064.Conclusion: combined use HE4and CA125value to the diagnosis ofovarian cancer is higher than using separately, and when patients serumHE4and CA125were negative, a better ability to exclude ovarian cancer.
