Objective:Study on the related factors of endophthalmitis after cataract surgery, toprovide the reference for clinical prevention, diagnosis, treatment. Methods:From January31,2012to2014January31Japan Academy admitted in theDepartment of Ophthalmology of endophthalmitis after cataract surgery in34eyes of34cases, clinical data, analysis of endophthalmitis after cataractsurgery in patients with treatment, cultivation results of pathogen and prognosisResults:Over the past2years in our hospital treated a total of34eyes of34patients with infective endophthalmitis after cataract surgery patients, including6eyes of6cases in our hospital after cataract operation, the remaining28cases28eyes outside the hospital referral. From the onset to diagnosis and treatmentinterval was1d-28d, the average6.3d. Pathological smear examination andpathogens detection rate for a total of5.88%. Systemic and local anti infectivedrugs combined with early anterior chamber irrigation+intravitreous injection, the flat broad vitrectomy combined with intravitreal injection can effectivelycontrol the infection after treatment, the best corrected visual acuity of morethan0.05in23eyes, there was statistical significance compared with beforetreatment (P<0.01), the treatment effect is remarkable, but only11.76%(4/34the visual acuity of the patients with greater than0.3), there are still32.35%(11/34) in patients with visual acuity less than0.05, the prognosis is poor.Conclusion:(1) Endophthalmitis after cataract surgery has been affected by many factors.(2) The correct diagnosis and reasonable treatment can achieve goodprognosis.(3) Species and virulence of pathogens affect the prognosis.(4)Endophthalmitis after cataract surgery should be based on prevention.
