Objective:To observe the effect of treating cough variant asthma heat phlegm with wind evil-type with cough2party united conventional treatment of western medicine and treatment of western medicine, comparison of the two effects. With the effects of cough symptom scores and excitation threshold of bronchial provocation test.Discussion of Chinese medicine treatment of cough variant asthma advantages,and the regulation advantages and improvement of cough symptoms and bronchial hyperresponsiveness(BHR).Materials and methods:1. Selected outpatients belong to syndrome differentiation of the heat phlegm with wind evil-type, from the second people’s hospital in Fujian province from January lto December31,2013. And choose60cases of patients with reference to western diagnostic criteria of cough variant asthma (CVA).Then randomly divided into experimental group and control group with30cases in each.Two groups of patients with gender,age and course of disease by statistical processing, there ware no significant difference between comparable.2.The experimental group received the treatment of Seretide (Salmeterol and fluticasone propionate50/250μg),one inhalation each time,twice a day, added cough2party, one day a dose, sooner or later, treatment time is1week. The control group took western medicine Seretide (50/250μg),one inhalation each time,twice a day, treatment for1week.Monitored the change of cough symptom scores and excitation threshold of bronchial provocation test in the two groups before and after the treatment.During the medication ordered all patients that pay attention to light diet, avoid alcohol and tobacco, take shelter from the wind and cold, and do some appropriate exercise.3.Statistical methods:Used the SPSS18.0statistical software for statistical processing results, set the P≤0.05with statistically difference,P<0.01with significant difference for the statistical significance, P>0.05with no significant difference. Measurement data used T test,count data used chi square test and rank sum test.Results:1.Comprehensive curative effect:Two groups of the effective rate was statistical significance(P<0.05) after treatment,the efficiency of the experimental group was higher than that in the control group,the experimental group was better than control group.2.Cough symptom scores:Cough symptom scores of two groups, each group before and after treatment of cough symptom scores was significant difference (P<0.01). Compared in the two groups of cough symptom scores before and after treatment were significantly decreased. The cough scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly different between the two groups (P<0.01).In terms of reduce cough symptoms integral, the experimental group is more obvious.3.Excitation threshold level of bronchial provocation test: Comparison of two groups before treatment, no difference between two groups (P>0.05).There were significant differences between the two groups after the treatment (P<0.05), and there was significant difference before and after the treatment in each group (P<0.01).The experimental group was better than control group in improving the excitation threshold.4.In the process of the two groups of treatment without the occurrence of adverse reactions and adverse events.Conclusion:1.Use the cough2party to treat cough variant asthma of heat phlegm with wind evil-type, curative effect is distinct, can improve the symptoms of cough and reduce bronchial hyperresponsiveness(BHR).2.Cough2party has no obvious toxic and side effects, it is safe and effective on treatment of cough variant asthma, and can be widely used in clinic.
