Objcetion:To study the distribution of TCM Constitution of primary nephrotic syndrome patients and to investigate whether there are differences of general data, urine protein quantitation and biochemical indices among these TCM Constitution. In addition, to provide some reference for individualized treatment for this disease.Methods:188primary nephropathy patients from Fu Zhou General Hospital were enrolled in this study since2012to2014years. Their general data, urine protein quantitation and biochemical indices have been investigated. At the same time, Chinese constitution of these patients have also been classified according to the standard of "Chinese constitution classification and determination" issued at2009. Physical assessment of patients, and the results were statistically analyzed. Results:Primary nephrotic syndrome patients, the most common type of constitution is Qi stagnation in44cases (23.4%),43cases of Yang deficiency (22.9%), Mild physical32cases (17%), uncommon constitution is Special intrinsic quality of2cases (3.2%), Blood stasis of6cases (1.1%). Qi deficiency, Yin deficiency in patients with24h urinary protein quantitative differences (P’<0.00238), Phlegm dampness, Damp heat in patients with D-dimer difference (P’<0.00238).Conclusion:Qi stagnation, Yang deficiency and Mild physical constitution are the three leading familiar TCM Constitution types of these patients, while Special intrinsic quality, Blood stasis are two kinds of less common constitution type.24h urine protein quantity of Qi deficiency patients was greater than that of Yin deficiency type. Plasma D-dimer of Phlegm dampness patients was higher than that of Damp heat type patients.
