ObjectiveTo investigate the protein expression of bFGF,CREB and Bcl-2in humanepithelial ovarian malignant tumor, and explore the relationship between threeproteins and clinicopathological characters of human epithelial ovarianmalignant tumor.MethodsThe protein expression of bFGF, CREB and Bcl-2CREB in59cases ofparaffin embedded ovarian cancer,20cases of benign epithelial tumor tissuesand18cases of normal ovarian tissues were detected byimmunohistochemistry.Results1.The protein expression of bFGF,CREB and Bcl-2was higher in ovariancancer (The positive expression case43/59,45/59,48/59) than that in benignepithelial tumor tissues(The positive expression6/20,8/20,5/20)(P<0.05)、normal ovarian tissues(The positive expression case2/18,4/18,2/18)(P<0.05).2. The protein expression of bFGF,CREB and Bcl-2was correlated toclinical stage, besides, the expression of CREB protein was correlated tohistological type, and they were no significant correlation with the age, gradeand lymph node metastasis.3.There was significant positive correlation between bFGF,CREB andBcl-2protein expression in human ovarian cancer,bFGF and CREB(r=0.287,P<0.05),bFGF and Bcl-2(r=0.393,P<0.05),CREB and Bcl-2(r=0.858,P<0.05)。 4. Univariate and multivariate analysis with clinicopathological charactersrevealed that CREB expression level of ovarian cancer was an independentprognostic indicator for patients with ovarian cancer.ConclusionsThe protein expression of bFGF,CREB and Bcl-2was higher in ovariancancer compared with those in benign epithelial tumor tissues and normalovarian tissues. The protein expression of bFGF,CREB and Bcl-2in ovariancancer was related to clinical stage,Besides, the expression of CREB proteinwas related to histological type. But there were no significant correlation with theage, grade and lymph node metastasis. There was significant positivecorrelation between bFGF,CREB and Bcl-2protein expression in human ovariancancer which prognosticates that they could participate in the development andgrowth of ovarian cancer in cooperation. CREB overexpression is anindependent prognostic indicator for patients with ovarian cancer. |
