| Objective:To evaluate the analgesic effect of pregabalin combined with morphine sulfate controlled-release tablet in the treatment of breakthrough cancer pain.Methods:42patients with breakthrough cancer pain were randomly assigned to two groups:Placebo combined with morphine sulfate controlled-release tablet group (group A,21cases) and pregabalin combined with morphine sulfate controlled-release tablet group (group B,21cases). The differences in visual analogue scale (VAS), the seizure frequency of breakthrough pain, the number of injections of bucinnazine hydrochloride injection and side effects of the two groups were observed.Results:(1) VAS scores of group A and group B decreased significantly after the treatment (P<0.05) and group B was much better than that of group A (P<0.05);(2) The seizure frequency of breakthrough pain and the number of injections of bucinnazine hydrochloride injection decreased significantly in two groups(P<0.05) and the effect of group B was much better than that of group A (P<0.05);(3)The side effects observed in group B was much lesser than in group A (P<0.05).Conclusion:Pregabalin combined with morphine sulfate controlled-release tablet can effectively relieve breakthrough cancer pain and reduce side effects. |
