Objective:Retrospective analysis of the clinical data of46patients with primarybilateral breast cancer (BPBC), to explore the clinical and pathological features ofbilateral primary breast cancer.Method:Collected46cases of BPBC patients randomly selected from the sameperiod in patients with unilateral breast cancer (UBC) clinical and pathological data,Analysis BPBC clinicopathological characteristics of simultaneous contrast bilateralbreast cancer with unilateral breast cancer, bilateral breast cancer within simultaneous(sBPBC) and metachronous (mBPBC) age, menstrual history, family history, reproductive history, pathological stage, histological type and immunohistochemicalsuch differences. In addition, the combination of domestic and foreign literature, explores BPBC the incidence of risk factors, diagnostic criteria, principles of treatmentand prognosis.Result:The study cases show lower incidence of BPBC, accounting for1.75%ofbreast cancer in the same period, the average age of onset was41.3years old, comparedwith unilateral breast cancer10years earlier. sBPBC with mBPBC the age of onset ofmenstruation, family history of breast cancer, fertility and pathological stagingdifferences, but not statistically significant (P>0.05). BPBC early age of onset, onsetmenopause majority (73.9%), there is a family history of breast cancer (15.2%), withunilateral breast cancer differ, and this difference was significant (P <0.05). BPBC UBC,the histopathological type invasive ductal carcinoma, the proportion of sBPBC, mBPBCfirst side of the tumor and UBC were78.5%(11/14),71.9%(23/32),71.7%(43/60).The BPBC the first side of the tumor in patients with ER positive expression rate was56.5%(26/46) the PR of positive expression rate was52.2%(24/46), Her-2positiveexpression rate was34.8%(16/46) no significant difference (P>0.05) compared withunilateral breast cancer. The second side of the tumor ER, PR, Her-2, the positiveexpression rate was60.9%(28/46),50%(23/46),36.9(17/46). The positive expressionrate of the bilateral primary foci are different, but not statistically significant (p>0.05). higher consistency than sBPBC mBPBC receptor expression, but this difference is notmeaningful. Conclusion: BPBC the incidence is relatively low, but with the improvement ofthe incidence of breast cancer, an upward trend in the incidence of BPBC. Its earlier ageof onset is about30years old to40years old, about10years earlier than the unilateralbreast cancer. Such as age, family history is an important factor affect BPBC occur. Thediagnosis BPBC The key is to identify the second side of the tumor is primary ormetastatic. Once the diagnosis is BPBC timely and reasonable treatment, the survival ofnot worse than unilateral breast cancer.
