Objective: To study the protein kinase B (AKT) and target of rapamycin (mTOR)expression in patients with endometriosis ectopic endometrium, eutopic endometriumand ovarian teratoma in patients with normal endometrium, to explore the relationshipbetween PI3K\AKT\mTOR signaling pathway and the pathogenesis of endometriosis,development.Methods:40cases of patients with endometriosis (32cases of ovarian chocolate cyst,8cases of adenomyosis of uterus) and40cases of ovarian teratoma were divided intothree groups, namely the ectopic endometrium, eutopic endometrium group group andthe normal endometrium group, the positive expression cells of immunohistochemicaltechnique to detect p-AKT and p-mTOR rate, relative application of RT-PCRexpression levels of detection of AKT and mTOR mRNA, differential expressionbetween the three groups were compared endometrial AKT/mTOR signaling pathwayactivation degree and AKT, mTOR analysis.Results: in the endometrial tissue samples were detected,40cases of endometriosis,and40cases were teratoma of ovary, immunohistochemistry showed ectopicendometrium and eutopic endometrium group p-AKT group, the positive expressionrate of p-mTOR (92.5%,87.5%,85%,77.5%) was significantly higher than that innormal endometrium group (62.5%,47.5%, P1<0.05, P2<0.05). RT-PCR resultsshowed that the relative expression in ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometriumgroup, AKT group, mTOR was (0.7426±0.1122,0.7172±0.1318,0.6699±0.1029,0.4358±0.0487) was significantly higher than that in normal endometrium group(0.4569±0.0959,0.3248±0.0420, q1,3=9.52, q2,3=7.89, P<0.05).Conclusion:1. p-AKT, p-mTOR, AKT mRNA, mTOR mRNA expression in eutopicendometrium group and ectopic endometrium group, low expression in nonendometriosis patients with normal endometrium.2. p-AKT, p-mTOR and AKT mRNA, mTOR mRNA in patients with endometriosis eutopic endometrium and ectopic expression no obvious difference,eutopic endometrium and ectopic endometrium in the organization might haverelation to learn,"eutopic endometrium determinism" theory provides theexperimental basis.3. PI3K/AKT/mTOR signal pathway may be involved in endometriosis, theabnormal regulation may play a role in the formation of ectopic foci of endometriosis.
