Correlation Analysis Of Bending Degree And Age Of Ventral Curved Hypospadias

Objective: To evaluate the relationship between bending degree andage of hypospadias with ventral penile curvature, to investigate the etiologyof congenital ventral curved hypospadias.Method:①2103children with hypospadias were divided into threegroups by age(0-3y,3-7y and>7y). Analyze the correlation between ventralbending, age and position of ectopic urethra opening.②130children whohave penoscrotal hypospadias with ventral penile curvature were dividedinto infants group, preschool-age group and school-age group by age.Analyze the correlation between bending degree and age.Result:①813of2103hypospadias with ventral penile curvature.②There’s no clear correlation between ventral bending and age (P>0.05).③The proportion of penis bending become higher when the ectopic urethralopening position is closer to the body (P<0.01).④Increases with age, thepenis bending tend to be worse (P<0.05).Conclusions:①Compared with the distal hypospadias, penis bendingis easier to be found in proximal hypospadias, because of fewer ventralorganization.②With the growth, histopathological factors leading to penile bending may cause more apparent ventral curved. So, the essentialhistopathological factors should be removed during penoplasty in order toavoid recurrent chordee of penis.
