Cerebral aneurysm is a abmormal bulging in cerebral artery,the maincause of subarachnoid hemorrhage。It’s a timebomb in the brain,it will haveserious consequences once it ruptures.However its pathogenesis was notclear yet,most think it’s the congenital defect in the arterial vascular wallsand the hypertension in the vessel lomen,it appear mostly in Willis brainbottom ring.For ruptured aneurysm surgery is necessary,the way containmicrosurgery on clipping and endovascular intervention,they have its ownadvantages and disadvantages。 Rapid technological advances in theendovascular field has revolutionized the treatment intracranialaneurysms.Since the guglielmi detachable coils have been put into use inAmerican in1995,a variety of newer coils with different design andphysical properties such as complex coils,stretch resistant and bioactivecoils,have become available promising to increase and recanalizationrates.Treatment of wide neck intracranial aneurysms has inproved withavailability of compliant balloons and newer intracranial assistdevices.Emerging technology such as flow diverters hold promise intreatment of large and difficult to treat intracranial aneurysms,liquid embolic agent offer a novel,safe and effective adjunctive treatment optionwhen used in combination with coil with stent and balloon assist technique.
