Objective:Multi-baseline digital close-range photogrammetrytechnology to achieve the three-dimensional measurement ofdental plaster model, the technology with the traditional manualmeasurement method, three-dimensional laser scanning method tomeasure the arch length, arch width, base bone length valuesobtained for comparison to explore multi-baseline digitalclose-range photogrammetry feasibility of clinical application. Methods:Around the dental plaster model of multiple overlappeddisorderly photo taken by ordinary digital camera, the importof multi-baseline digital close-range photography software, through the software to get the point cloud with dental plastermodel of three-dimensional coordinate information intensive, finally through reverse engineering software Meshlabreconstruction,3D digital model for dental plaster model. Using the traditional manual measurement and3D laser scanning andmulti-baseline digital close-range photogrammetry method formeasurement of dental arch length, arch width, basal bone length, basal bone width, the measurement results of three methods forpaired samples T test.Results:Multi-baseline digital close-range photogrammetry canobtain the form of highly similar three-dimensional digitalmodel of the dental plaster model, This digital model canaccurately identify the tip of the tooth, Waterloo, groove, ridge, point gap, lip and cheek tongue tie, palate wrinkled folds andmucosal transitional physiological characteristics, Arch length, arch width, the length of the base bone and basal bone widthmeasurement results with the traditional manual measurement and3D laser scanning method in the statistical sense was nosignificant difference (P>0.05)Conclusion:Multi-baseline digital close-range photogrammetrytechnology and equipment requirements, simple operation, nosignificant difference between the measured data and the resultsof the manual measurement and3D laser scanning measurement can be applied to dental plaster model of a simple three-dimensionaldigital measurement. The high-precision3D model that obtainedby the technology has broad application prospects at finiteelement analysis, crown volume, the palatal top volume andsurface area measurement project.
