Diabetic gastroparesis (DGP) is one of the most commoncomplications of the diabetic mellitus. With the morbidity of diabeticmellitus multiply rapidly, the incidence and hospitalization of DGPincreased markedly, which influenced the life quality of the patientsseriously. As the pathogenesis of DGP is still unclear, the treatment of DGPis symptomatic, and therapeutic effect is less than satisfactory. This reviewprovides updated information on the pathogenesis of DGP focusing on newfindings from the past few years.
