Acute upper respiratory tract infection is a common respiratory disease, which is mainly caused by a virus confined to the nasal cavity, pharynx, throat, respiratory tract mucosa acute inflammation of the general.The disease happens in each season, especially occurs in the winter and spring. The statistics show that the annual incidence rate of cold is80%. Three quarters people suffer from a cold at least one year. There are nearly ten million people infected by the cold each year. Adults get a cold from one to three times per year, while children suffer more. We haven’t found a person who never gets a cold so that flu prevention and treatment is an important course which is worthy of our study.Chinese Traditional Medicine believes that strong cold is caused by the unfixed of lung and foreign features. The main clinical manifestations of exogenous disease are chills, fever, stuffy nose, runny nose, cough, headache. While climate chinge, the sense of evil different, physical weak are the keys to the onset of clinical manifestations of cold. Wind and heat, summer and physically weak cold do not occur in the weakness either the young or the old. What’s more, the crucial of illness is decided by the power of healthy atmosphere and sense of evil. Sense GDQ particle in the rousing theory under the guidance formed, to Yi qi tie du, is the main treatment method to improve the body’s own anti-virus crpability and immunity for the purpoce of a new type of traditional Chinese medicine preparation.Purpose:Through clinical observation on the sense GDQ particle in treating acute upper respiratory tract infection (syndrome of Qi evil committed),the study is mainly after the patients’improvement of clinical symptoms and serum-free cell factor IPX-γ, IL-2concentration in the body condition changes, to further clarify the sense GDQ particle treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infection antiviral and improve the function of body’s anti-virus capability and immunity.Method:The clinical study has used a contrastive and single blind clinical tentative method, including31patients who met the diagnostic critelia. They were randomly divided into two groups (the cense GDQ particle group and anti-viral particle group). The26cases of treatment group, take a sense GDQ particle3times a day,3days for a course of treatment; while the comparative group’s11patients take anti-viral particles as the way the former group do. The observed effects were compared between the two groups’ patients before and after their treatments and serum the changes of cytokines IFN-γ, IL-2.Result:GDQ particle composition-activity rate is87.5%, while anti-viral particle composition-activity rate is27.3%. GDQ particle curative effect is better than the antiviral particles.By rank sum test (P<0.05), having statistical significant. Two groups of patients with symptoms (fever, throat swelling, pain, fatigue and weakness, shortness of breath and unwillingness to speak), and secondary with symptoms (chill, sweating, headache, cough, nasal congestion, runny nose) are obviously alleviated after treatment. Especially, the mitigation of aversion and runny nose has a statistical significant (P<0.05). There is no obviously effect on serum IFN-γ, IL-2concentration before drug taking, Between GDQ particle and anti-viral particle (P>0.05). Three days later, the treatment group patients increased, the concentration of serum IL-2itself before and after contrast, without statistical significance (P>0.05); Compared with the control group not significant (P>0.05). Three days later, the concentration of the serum levels of IFN-γ treatment group patients also had a tendency to rise, their before and after contrast, without statistical significance (P>0.05); Compared with the control group was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:GDQ particle has obviously improved various acute upper respiratory tract infection(evil committed due to Qi deficiency syndrome) symptoms, especially on fatigue, throat swelling, pain and other symptoms. It can shorten the course, compare with anti-virus particle,GDQ particle curative effect is better than the antiviral particles, The curative effect is significant. GDQ particle in improving the body’s resistance to viruses and immune effect is distinguished.
