The Sdudy Of The Nontoxic Thyroid Nodulargoiter’s Constitution Type Of TCM

Objectives:To Study the nontoxic thyroid nodulargoiter’s constitution of TCM, and analyse the relationship between the constitution and the disease occurred,provide a theoretical basis for prevention and treatment of the disease,guide the clinical medication,through the investigation of the nontoxic thyroid nodulargoiter.Methods:Collect92patients,from April2011to March2013,Cheng Du university of traditional chinese medicine hospital of endocrinology outpatient clinics and wards, and carried on the questionnaire survey to them. Finally using statistics to summarize the distribution characteristics of the constitution of TCM.Result:(1) The general situation:in92patients with nontoxic thyroid nodulargoiter, there are10males and82females. Male to female ratio is1to8.2, The minimum age is25years old.The biggest age is68years old. Thd mean age is45.12±10.060.(2) The constitutional types:health (13.04%), Biased constitution (86.96%), and in the majority of patients with health,75%of patients has a tendency to biased constitution.single constitutional type (14.13%), two and two or more constitutional types (85.87%)(3) According to the main constitution,the physical distribution of the nontoxic thyroid nodulargoiter are as follows:Qi physique fitness (33.70%),Qi deficiency (22.83%),Yang deficiency (18.48%),health (13.04%),phlegm (6.52%),Blood stasis constitution (2.17%),Yin deficiency (2.17%),dampness-heat(1.09%).according to The total frequency of all constitution, the distribution of the nontoxic thyroid nodulargoiter were as follows:phlegm (22.54%),Qi physique fitness (19.67%),Qi deficiency(18.44%),Yang deficiency(16.80%),blood stasis constitution(9.02%),Yin deficiency (4.92%),health (4.92%),dampness-heat (3.69%). The overall distribution difference of TCM constitution type of the disease in the two row methods was statistically significant (P=0.0010.05).Among them, Qi physique fitness (P=0.007),phlegm(P=0.001), blood stasis constitutions (P=0.030), the distribution of their differences in the two row methods was statistically significant (P<0.05) the rest of physical types’distribution difference had no statistical significance (P>0.05)Conclusion:(1) The nontoxic thyroid nodulargoiter mainly occurs in middle-aged female patients over the age of40.(2)The nontoxic thyroid nodulargoiter physical type is given priority to with biased constitution, and often performance for mixed constitutions.(3)The nontoxic thyroid nodulargoiter physical type is mainly Qi physique fitness, followed by Qi deficiency,Yang deficiency. The phlegm and blood stasis constitution mainly appear in the mixed constitution.
