Preliminary Investigations Of Dust Mite Biological Characteristics And Means Of Control In Zhengzhou City

Dust mites stay everywhere in the lives of people, that were aworldwide distribution, also have a broad distribution in China. Dus tmites are small,only170~500μm. We can use a magnifying glass and microscope to see it. A fewcan cause the disease of human perversity reaction. The main house dust mite isDermatophagoides farnae Hughes and Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus Trouessart.Since1964Voorhorst first proposed that dust mite was a cause of major allergen ofhuman allergies. People had confirmed the dust mite antigen derived from its anystates and sites, including live mites, mite carcasses, mite droppings and secretions,mite decomposition debris. Dust mite allergic asthma exacerbations are closelyrelated to higher density of House dust mite, The asthma can be caused easy by thehigher density.In order to provide a basis for preventing Dust mite and allergic asthma, weinvestigated breeding of dust mites of household in Zhengzhou City and averagedensity and the average density of household of allergic asthma patient. Resultsshowed that there were significant differences between the urban and rural household（P﹤0.05）,and the average density also had significant differences（u=0.7504,P﹤0.05）,but in comparison with the household of allergic asthma patient the differenceswere no significant（P﹥0.05）.We analysed the change of the density of Dust mitewith indoor RH in20℃atNov in Zhengzhou City. It increased wite indooor RH.When the RH was kept in RH59%～63%，the density of Dust mite maintained a levelof stability. The breeding situation is relatively common in Zhengzhou City. Theaverage density of the rural household is greater than the urban.But there is nonecessary link between the density of Dust mite and allergic asthma.The diffrent miteinstar in Zhengzhou exceeds south. The gap is in0.2or so. These datas can providescientific basis for study and prevention of dust mite.Dust mites can not live if the temperature exceeds35℃. We designed a mitevacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner can kill the dust mites after turning on theheating switch. These conclusions on the distribution can help people to control dust mites insome areas of our province. And the preliminary analysis can provide some scientificbasis for the dust mite allergy prevention and treatment.
