Objective:To investigate (3-catenin、C-fos and matrix metalloproteinase (MMP-9) expression in gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs).To research the relationship between these proteins expression and clinical significance、pathological features. Methods:The clinical and pathological datas of GISTs patients (n=100) were collected from Xiangya Hospital from June,2007to June,2012,then retrospectively analyzed. One hundred GISTs tissues were examined by immunohistochemistry. SPSS17.0was used to analyze immunohistochemistry results and clinical datas of one hundred patients.Results:1.In100cases of gastrointestinal stromal tumors, protein positive expression rates of β-catenin, C-fos and MMP-9were81%(81/100),79%(79/100),83%(83/100) respectively. There was no statistical significance (χ2=0.812, P=0.667).2. The differences of β-catenin, C-fos and MMP-9protein positive expression rates in GISTs with different risk classifications and with/without distant metastasis were statistical significance(P<0.05). when the risk classification grading raised, protein expression were increased.3. There existed correlation with β-catenin、C-fos and MMP-9expression in GISTs.Conclusion:When the risk classification grading were improved, the protein positive expression rates of (3-catenin, C-fos, MMP-9were increased. Protein expression in distant metastasis group was significantly higher than group without distant metastasis. There existed correlation with β-catenin、C-fos and MMP-9expression in GISTs. |
