Modern pharmacological studies have shown the Lycoris radiata. has a good biological effect in anti-aging.In order to find the chemical costituents and anti-aging active substances, two plants (Lycoris radiata. and Dendrobium candidum.) have been subjected to phytochemical investigation.Methods:the70%ethanol (pH=1) extract of the bulbs of lycoris radiata. was subjected to various colum chromatographic techniques, incuding silica gel c.c, Sephadex LH-20, preparation HPLC and so on.7compounds were identified with physico-chemical properties and IR, NMR, MS data. The author has assayed the content determination of crinine in Lycoris radiata. and Lycoris aurea..75%ethanol extract of Dendrobium candidum. was subjected to various colum chromatographic techniques, to afford3compounds.Results:the structures of the7compounds isolated from lycoris radiata. were identified as:hippeastrine (1), lycorine (2), crinine (3), lycoramine (4), galanthanmine (5), tazettine (6) and dibutyl phthalate (7). The content of crinine in bulbs of lycoris radiata. which has been determined is higher than that in bulbs of lycoris aurea.3compouds isolated from Dendrobium candidum were identified as β-daucosterol (8), hentriacontanol(9) and β-sitosterol (10).Conclusion:bulbs of lycoris radiata. have alkaloids, The author has assayed crinine determination in Lycoris radiata. and Lycoris aurea. for the first time.
