Objective: To study whether contrast media dose will affect the renal function in patientswith coronary heart disease after PCI within seven days. And whether there is somerelationship between contrast media dose and the renal function. Methods: According to the contrast agent dose, samples were divided into two groups.Thecontrast dose less than150ml was known as the low-dose group;when the contrast dose isgreater than150ml,the probability of contrast induced nephropathy will increse. So whenthe contrast does is greater than150ml, it was named the high-dose group. We collectedthe clinical statistical data and analyzed it.According to the MDRD formula which theAmerican Society of Nephrology proposed we calculateed the glomerular filtration rateand judged whether the contrast agent dose would impact renal function in patients withcoronary heart disease after PCI in seven days.Results:(1) The two groups has the same basis of glomerular filtration rate. With theincrease in the dose of contrast agent, the difference of the glomerular filtration rate willincrease after CAG or PCI.The dose of contrast agent will influence glomerular filtrationrate difference: With the increase of contrast dose, the glomerular filtration ratedifference also showed an upward trend.(2) The linear regression coefficient between the dose of the contrast agent andglomerular filtration rate is0.28(P <0.05).(3) The contrast agent dose has relationship with the glomerular filtration rate.Andthe rate correlation coefficient rs is0.32and it has statistically significant.According tothe difference of the basic glomerular filtration rate, sample were divided into two groups. When the glomerular filtration rate is greater than90ml/min, the correlation coefficientbetween contrast agent dose and glomerular filtration rate is0.312. When the glomerularfiltration rate is between60ml/min and90ml/min, the correlation coefficient betweencontrast agent dose and glomerular filtration rate is0.334(P<0.05).Conclusions: At the same basis of glomerular filtration rate, with the increase in the dose of contrast agent, the difference of the glomerular filtration rate will increase after CAG orPCI.With the increase of contrast dose, the glomerular filtration rate difference alsoshowed an upward trend. For patients with different glomerular filtration rate, the effect ofcontrast agent dose is different. With the basic glomerular filtration rate is lower, thedeterioration of renal function will happen caused by the contrast agent. There is positiverelationship between the contrast dose and the glomerular filtration rate. That is to saythere is positive relationship between the contrast dose and the recent renal function afterPCI.
