Discussion On Zhang Zhongjing Theory"Treating Different Diseases With The Same Method" And Its Law Of Application

Since the time of Zhong-Jing Zhang, the author of Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases, many Chinese medicine physicians through the ages had been applying the concept of "treating different diseases with the same method". Many cases can be found in the book Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases of treatments applied with same herbal formula on different diseases and symptoms based on the same disease mechanism.However, most of the appliances by later Chinese medicine physicians are treatment based on the same syndrome, only little about treatment based on different syndromes are being brought up.It the introduction, the concept and history of "Treating different diseases with the same method" is introduced and it is discussed that the book Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases also has great content of treatment based on different syndrome.In this paper, study on theory and appliances of the concept "Treating different diseases with same method" can be divided into three sections: First section summarizes the studies and developments made by the later Chinese medicine physicians on "Treating different diseases with same method". the concept "Treating different diseases with same method based on same syndrome".
