ObjectiveTo Investigate and analysis the present situation of core competence for Newly admitted undergraduate nursing students in triple hospital in the city,and compare the differences in professional between new graduate nurses and undergraduate nursing registered nurse with3years of work experience and identify the affecting factors, To provide a reference for the school of nursing student’s education and baseline information for hospital care managers. And with excellent methods to educate and train the nursing workersMethodsThe application of random sampling method to select240nurses in tertiary hospitals in Qingdao city as the research object. By using the method of questionnaire investigation, The Competency Inventory for Registered Nurse,(CIRN by liu Ming) as the questionnaire survey,Using descriptive statistics, t test, variance analysis, correlation analysis and other statistical method that analysis the core competences status and its influencing factors of college nursing graduatesResults(1)The results of statistic description is (1) the core competencies of nursing undergraduates overall average score is (2.60±0.57), Scores in critical thinking and research (2.04±0.58).Clinical care (2.46±0.55) Leadership (2.42±0.65) Interpersonal skills (2.98±0.45) The ability of the legal and ethical practice (3.06±0.51) Professional Development (2.68±0.64) Education and advisory capacity (2.57±0.65)(2)The results of Mean comparison are different working years nurses core competencies in each dimension have a significant difference.(P<0.01) New graduate nurses core competencies are lower than3years work team of nurses. Critical thinking and research(t=6.4,P<0.01) Leadership(t=4.9,P<0.01)have significant differences. The ability of the legal and ethical practice(t=1.6, P<0.01) Interpersonal skills(t=2.1,P<0.01)have little differences.(3) The core competencies of nurses score are related with the years of Nurses working,the hospital where the they practice, the time rotation in the hospital and have ever consider a career change etc. and they were statistically significant (4) Impact factors of the core competencies of nursing undergraduates put into the regression model, and the Model has statistically significant,(F=135.055, P=0.000), This indicates that the work of years, whether or not to consider a career change is the decisive factor of the core competencies of nurses, This can explain the core competencies of nurses to score53%of the total variance.ConclusionThe overall core competencies of undergraduate nursing students at the middle level, new graduate nursing undergraduate critical thinking ability and clinical care less capable. Main influencing factors of the core ability of college nursing graduates are the nurse work experience, their internship hospital, the time in hospital rotation, whether to consider a career change etc. Nursing educators and hospital administrators should strengthen the core capability of undergraduate nursing students.
