Background: Coronary heart disease (CHD) is one of the most common heartdiseases. It is the disease which caused by coronary artery stenosis or cardiacinsufficiency. It is also known as ischemic cardiomyopathy. Coronary heart diseasewhich is the one of the most common diseases has become a serious harm to humanlife and health. It is morbidity and mortality with patients age, the rising trend, andgender differences, the incidence of women lower than men in that year.the genderfactor of male is regarded as an independent risk factor.it is possible that there aresome connections between sex hormone internal environment and the incidence ofCHD.It is possible that sex hormone levels to predict the extent of coronary arterystenosis has a certain value and now to explore the connection between them are lessnot only at home but also abroad. Objective:Through multiple factors analysis the patient’s of CHD group and controlgroup clinical and laboratory indicators(sex hormone, blood sugar, blood lipids, smoking and other risk factors), finally to understand whether the severity ofcoronary artery stenosis and sex hormone levels were positively correlated. Methods:The study enrolled120male patients who received coronary angiography inCenter of Cardiovascular Disease of People’s Hospictal of Jiangxi province from May2012to February2013.Clinical baseline information were recorded in detail, including, age, height, weight, historyofsmoking, pertension, diabetes and drug takenhistory. Venous blood samples were taken and stored in low temperature refrigeratorfor examination on the first morning After admission. Then the concent rations of sexhormones, and biochemistry were determined. The Judikins selective coronaryangiography was taken, then the degrees of coronary arterial stenosis wereQualitatively evaluated.According to the results of coronary angiography,85subjectswhose involved.coronary artery diameter’s loss was more than or equal to50percent were assigned to CHD group and other35subjects whose involved coronary arterydiameter’s loss was less than50percent were assigned to control group. The subjectsof CHD group were subdivided into three subgroups including stable angina pectorisgroup, unstable angina pectoris group and acute myocardial infarction groupaccording to the number of coronary lesion. Results:There was no difference between the two groups about age, BMI,HDL-C,TC,TG,GLu,And The incidence of hypertension and diabetes(size of a testa=0.05).The levels of hypersensitive C-reactive protein in UAP group and AMI groupwere significantly higher than that in control(both p<0.05);there were no significantdifferent between SAP group and control group(all p<0.05),The levels of testosteronein SAP group,UAP group and AMI group were significantly lower than that in controlgroup (all p<0.05).In detail, when compared with another group among SAP UAPand AMI groups, the level of testosterone in AMI group was the lowest,The UAPgroup was the median while the SAP group was the highest (all p<0.05).The Gensiniscores in SAP group,UAP group and AMI group were significantly increasedcompared to that in control group (all p<0.05),and the Gensini scores in AMI groupwas increased compared to that in UAP(p<0.05). The levels of E2and E2/T in CHDgroup is higher than control group. The Gensini scores GLU,BMI and TC are negative correlation testosterone,butHDL-C is positive correlation.Conclusions:1. The values of androgens are lower in the CHD group in men.2. The values of androgens in men correlate with CHD and affect the severity ofcoronary artery stenosis probably.3.Perhaps hypotesteronemia is an independent risk factor for CHD in men andthe endogenous androgens are the factors against atherosclerosis in males.4.One ofthe probable pathogenesis which the disturbance of sex hormone internal environment results in CHD is to provoke the expression of some of the established risk factors forCHD in males.
