Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of " clear heat in the heart and liver " inthe treatment of stable angina pectoris, and through the relevant laboratory tests toinvestigate the mechanism of the rhino horn(buffalo horn) rehmannia Formula for thetreatment of the disease, thus to illustrate its value in the treatment of stable angina.Method:Sixty cases of patients with stable angina pectoris were randomly dividedinto the experimental group (30cases) and control group (30cases).Gender, age, durationof the two groups of patients show no significant difference (P>0.05) and were statisticallycomparable. The control group was given aspirin100mg Qd PO, the metoprolol tartrate12.5mg Bid PO, simvastatin10mg QN PO, isosorbide mononitrate tablets20mg BidPO.The treatment group was given rhino horn(buffalo horn) Di Huang Formula(buffalohorn30g, rehmannia24g, red peony root12g, tree peony bark9g, Chuanxiong12g, motherof pearl fry18g, raw licorice6g) on the basis of the control group. The two groups were putunder a treatment of4weeks. Then observe and compare the changes before and after thetreatement, including TCM symptom scores, ECG, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),fibrinogen, blood lipid.Results:1.Angina treatment: the total effective rate of the treatment group was90.00%, the total efficiency of the control group was76.67%, the two groups have asignificant statistical difference (P <0.05), the treatment group has a better effect than thecontrol group;2.Improve TCM syndromes: The total effective rate of the treatment groupwas90.00%, the total efficiency of the control group was70.00%,the result showssignificant difference(P <0.05);3.The ECG improvement:The efficiency of the treatmentgroup is higher than the control group;4.Ultra-sensitivity C-reactive protein: both groupswere reduce to the degree of a significant difference (P <0.05),the treatment group decreased more significantly than the control group (P <0.01);5.Fibrinogen:There is acertain improvement for both groups of patients;6.Lipid changes: After treatment, the TG,TC, LDL-C of both groups were significantly decreased(P <0.05), the decline of TG,LDL-C in the treatment group was more significantly, and the result shows a significantdifference btween groups(P <0.05), TC decline showed no significant difference betweengroups(P>0.05);7.Elevated HDL-C:The result shows a rising trend(P>0.05),but there isno significant difference between groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The research shows that the rhino horn (buffalo horn) RehmanniaFormula combined with conventional Western medicine treatment can significantlyimprove the clinical efficacy of stable angina pectoris. It shows a better effect in improvingthe clinical symptoms and signs, improving myocardial blood supply, reducing blood lipidlevels, inhibit inflammation, protecting endothelial function and improving blood clottingand the prevention of thrombosis compared with simple routine western medicine, andshows no obvious side effects.
