Clinical Study Of Bushen Tongbi Decoction To The Deficiency Of Liver And Kidney Ankylosing Spondylitis Patients

Objective: Discuss the clinicial study of the effects of bushen tongbi decoction to thedeficiency of liver and kidney ankylosing spondylitis(AS) patients.Method:60patients included in the standard completely randomly divided into twogroups,including test group(30cases, bushen tongbi decoction)and control group (30cases,thalidomide)，observing patients of two groups before and after treatment in TCMsymptoms、Bath Ankylosing Apondylitis spondylitis disease activity index (BASDAI)、Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Functional Index (BASFI)、 Bath Ankylosing Spondylitismetrology index (BASMI)、clinical signs of observationsindicators and credits: night andoverall pain VAS score、patients global VAS score、spinal inflammation、physical andchemical examination: erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-reactive protein (CRP).Results: Statistically,the clinical observation showed that the test group and thecontrol group both have a very significant difference（P<0.01） in improving TCMsyndrome candidate、 improve the quality of patients’ life(lower BASDAI、BASFI、BASMI、overall pain VAS score、patients global VAS score、spinal inflammation)、lowererythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein compared before treatment. The testgroup has a statistically significant difference（P<0.05） compared with the control group.The test group is more effective than the control group.Conclusion: the therapeutic action of bushen tongbi decoction to the deficiency ofliver and kidney ankylosing spondylitis patients is more effective than the thalidomide’s inTCM clinical syndromes、BASDAI、BASFI、BASMI、night and overall pain VAS score、patients global VAS score、spinal inflammation、erythrocyte sedimentation rate andC-reactive protein.
