Studies On Anus Functional And Quality Of Life In Children After Surgery High Or Intermediate Congenital Atresia Of Anus

Objective：1、To clear postoperation anus functional of children after surgery withintermediate or high CAA.2、 To evaluate the quality of life in children after surgery withintermediate or high CAA.Methods：Forty-four Children treated for CAA in Department ofGastrointestinal and neonate Surgery, Children’s Affiliated Hospital ofChongqing Medical University from1998to2007were evaluated if5-11years or older. All of them fill in children long-term functional outcomequestionnaire after surgery with intermediate or high CAA、quality of lifeusing the Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory and CBCL, abdominalexamination and digital rectal examination were applied.According to the follow-up of the patient’s gender and age, compositionfrom inpatient children select44cases as control group, control group onlyfill in CBCL.All date collected were analyzed SPSS17.0software。 Results：1、Quality of life: There are excellent in16cases(36.36﹪), good in22cases(50.00﹪), bad in6cases(13.64﹪).2、Anus functional: The anus function score excellent in18case(s40.91﹪),good in21cases(47.73﹪), bad in5cases(11.36﹪). There aresignificantly difference between the quality of life and anus functional(P＜0.01).3、Behavior problem: The behavior problem in children of CAA weresignificantly higher than that of the controls, there are statistical significance(P＜0.05).Anusfunctionalandqualityoflifeweresignificantlyrelatedtothe behavior problem(P＜0.01).Conclusion：1、There are inordinately FDD of children after surgery, and the FDDstill trouble some of cases study and life.2、The QOL in children after surgery with intermediate or high CAA areinfluenced by anus functional, The anal function to restore a better quality oflife in children with a higher, and vice versa lower.3、The behavior problem in children after surgery with intermediate orhigh CAA are higher than normal control, anus functional and QOL werepositive correlation related to the behavior problem of children after surgerywith intermediate or high CAA, anal functional recovery good children withbehavior problems occur less, and vice versa lower; and so QOL. 4、Pediatric surgical specialist nurses has responsibility to intermediateor high CAA individualized care，at the same time，guide patients、familieslong-term、regular follow-up.
