Bronchial asthma is the most common childhood chronic respiratorydiseases. Asthma in addition to the body discomfort to children, therepeated attacks of the disease and long-term treatment of also have aserious impact on children’s psychological and emotional health. Childrenemotion also plays an important role in asthma occurrence, developmentand prognosis. Although there are some research on the mood for asthmaticchildren, but science of children’s emotional assessment tools reporteduncommon. And is a small sample study, and lack of systematic andscientific intervention on children with emotional problems. PrescribeExercise is increasingly becoming a method of improving and maintaininggood mental state at home and abroad.In this study,8-16years-old asthma children are study objects. Byunderstanding the occurrence of emotional problems on children withasthma, analyzing of influencing factors, under the guidance of the conceptof “family-centered care”, Prescribe Exercise prescription to improve theemotional problems of children with asthma, explore the effect of the use ofthe exercise prescription. 【Objective】1. Understand the occurrence of emotional problems on asthmachildren, analyzing of influencing factors.2. Explore prescribe Exercise to improve the emotional problems ofchildren with asthma.3. Evaluate the effect of prescribe Exercise for improving the emotionof asthma children.【Method】1. Literature searchFind and read domestic and foreign relevant information in databaseexample for CNKI, CQVIP, wanfang, duxiu Pubmed, Ovid and so on.Understand the current research situation about mental health of asthmachildren at home and abroad. Research learning theoretical knowledge ofprescribe Exercise and prescribe Exercise at home and abroad. By doingthese, lay the theoretical foundation for this research.2. QuestionnaireTo use homemade baseline questionnaire, get the age, gender,education level, medical history, pulmonary function testing situation ofasthma children, and their parents’ marital; using SCARED and self-ratingscale (SCARED) to evaluate the feature of asthmatic children with anxietydisorder, and analyzing the relative influence factors of emotional problemof asthma children.3. Interview By depth interviewing of the asthma clinical experts, asthma nursespecialist, child psychology experts, and the parents of children, knowingthe exercise, exercise duration, frequency, intensity and precautions ofexercise which is suitable for asthma children, make specific exerciseprescription for asthma children; by Semi-structured interviews withparents of asthma children, knowing the change of emotional managementand exercise and disease management before and after prescribe Exerciseintervention.4. ExperimentationUse the experimental program of sports group and comparison group,divide the asthmatic children which met the study criteria into sports groupand comparison group. To intervene the emotional problems of sports groupchildren with prescribe Exercise, which were made under the guidance of“family-centered care”. After the intervention, using SCARED、DSRSCand Semi-structured interviews with parents of asthma children tocompare the changes in emotional problems and emotional management ingroup and between groups, and evaluate the effect of prescribe Exercise forimproving the emotion of asthma children.【Result】1. In this study, screen out155GAD children,91MDD children in408asthma children which were8-16years old, the asthmatic children with GAD was38.0%, and MDD was22.3%. The proportion of anxiety disorderand depressive disorder in asthmatic children is higher than normal childrenobviously2. Except for the school phobia in13-16years old girls, the asthmaticchildren of different ages, their somatization/panic, generalized anxietyand social anxiety, school phobia and anxiety and depression score wereobservably higher than normal children3. the parents’ awareness level for asthmatic, parental coping styles,pulmonary function testing situation, and child is only born or not werethe main influential factors of asthmatic children with anxiety disorder.4. After the prescribe Exercise for12weeks, compare the SCAREDand DSRSC score between groups, we found that, sports group children’ssomatization/panic, generalized anxiety and social anxiety, school phobiaand anxiety and depression score were improved obviously comparing withthe comparison group(p<0.05). Comparing the SCARED and DSRSC scorebefore exercise prescription with which after exercise prescription, wefound that sports group children’s somatization/panic, generalizedanxiety and social anxiety, school phobia and anxiety and depression scorewere improved obviously(p<0.05). But in the comparison group, children’ssomatization/panic, generalized anxiety and social anxiety, school phobiaand anxiety and depression score have no obvious improvement(p>0.05).Comparing the data of Semi-structured interviews with parents in sports group and comparison group, we found that children in sports group haveobvious change in emotion, exercise and disease management, but thecomparison group children have not.【Conclusions】1. Asthma children have more anxiety and depression emotionalproblems than normal children.2. Parents’ level of awareness of asthma, parents’ marital status,children with pulmonary function tests, children whether begotten are animportant factor in anxiety and depression disorders of children withasthma.3. Under the guidance of the concept of “family-centered care”,developing prescribe Exercise can effectively relieve anxiety anddepression for asthmatic children. It can make a role in psychologicalrehabilitation.
