The Express Of HBD-3in The Patient That Infection After Joint Replacement And Its Significance

Objective:To investigate the connection of HBD-3and infection after joint replacement.To investigate the connection of HBD-3and infection after joint replacement.Analyze the number of white blood cell、 erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein,the examine of frozen pathological section And the value of germiculture of the tissue which get from the patient that infection after joint replacement.Method:1. Collect the tissue around the prosthesis in the24patients from Nov2009to April2010,of these,13cases were diagnosed infection after joint replacement,11cases were not infection(3cases were diagnosed loosed after joint replacement,5caese were remedied by spacer,3cases were normal). All these cases divided into four groups infection group,loose group, spacer group and normal group;2. The inflammatory reaction and the number of exuded inflammatory cells were detected through HE staining;3. Observe the cells through immunofluorescence staining,analyze the optical density value of the HBD-3through Image-pro plus (IPP)7.0C,analyze the difference in each group;4. statistical analysis the results of the number of white blood cell,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein, in the24patients before the operation, analysis the frozen pathological section and germiculture of the tissue from the patients that infection after joint replacement during the operation, assess the susceptibility and specificity of these quotas in the diagnosis of infection after joint replacement.Results:1. HE staining results showed that musculi skeleti form in the normal group,in the infection group,loose group and spacer group,not only the musculi skeleti,but have the connective tissue and lots of neutrophilic granulocyte;2. There are many cells that staining by immunofluorescence in each group,the infection group have the most,the normal group have the least;3. The results of optical density value of the HBD-3showed that:infection group is0.406±0.103,loose group is0.301±0.000,spacer group is0.291±0.073,normal group is0.154±0.063;4. The results of the number of white blood cell,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein showed that there is no different in each group,but as the susceptibility and specificity,the number of white blood cell are7.70%、100%,erythrocyte sedimentation rate are61.50%、90.90%, C-reactive protein are84.60%、81.80%,frozen pathological section are76.90%、100%, germiculture of the tissue are76.90%、100%.Conclusion:The HBD-3expressed in the normal musculi skeleti,and high expressed in patient that infection after joint replacement.The results of the frozen pathological section and germiculture of the tissue from the patients that infection after joint replacement during the operation maybe have false-negative.
