The Clinical Research Of The Treatment Of Chronic Osteomyelitis By Antibiotic Bone Cement Chain Bead Implantation Combined With Dialectical Treatment By Tranditional Chinese Medicine

Objective: Through internal use of necrosis antiphlogistic soup with my tutor’sself-prescription, in combination with implantation of debridement antibiotics of bone cementbeads, this thesis probe into clinical effect of integration of traditional Chinese and Westernmedicine in treating chronic osteomyelitis.Methods: Choose42patients of chronic osteomyelitis (male23, female19), aged from20to65,42on average, treated in our hospital from1,2011to12,2013, of which5cases ofhumerus osteomyelitis,16cases of femur,14cases of tibia and7cases of calcaneus with aninfection course of1to5years,2years on average. These were randomly divided intotreatment group (14cases) with integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine andcontrol group (14cases).Before operation, all the patients were with fistula formation anddifferent degree of purulent exudate. Before and during operation, take pus from lesionlocation and the lesion tissues to germiculture plus antibiotics susceptibility and pathologicaldetection, and all the cases were cultured with pathogenic bacteria. Three days beforeoperation, the patients were treated with holistic therapy of antibiotics sensitive to bacteria,after operation continuous use for a week, then oral antibiotic s for four weeks. The treatmentgroup was treated with implantation of surgical debridement and antibiotics beads, incombination with traditional Chinese medicine according to clinical syndrome differentiation.The control group was treated with the same surgical operation, but without traditionalChinese medicine. All the patients were followed up for one to three years. The effective rate,relapse rate and various assay indexes6weeks after operation of the two groups werecalculated and statistically analyzed to compare the curative effect of the two groups.Result: The effective rate, relapse rate and auxiliary examination results6weeks afteroperation of the treatment group with integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicinehave significant difference（p＜0.05）, compared with the control group, which indicates thatthe curative effect of the treatment group is better than that of control group in treatingchronic osteomyelitis.Conclusion: Compared with simple treatment of western medicine, the curative effect ofthe treatment with integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine for chronic osteomyelitis can be significantly increased and it has the advantages of high cure rate andlow relapse rate.
