The Analysis Of Cases Of Clipping Surgery For Intracranial Aneurysm In Single Treatment Group

Objective:To assess the efficacy of clipping surgery for intracranial aneurysm and analyze related factors that affect the prognosis.Methods:139patients who underwent clipping of their intracranial aneurysms were studied during June2011to December2012in single treatment group of Tongji Hospital. The preoperative symptoms were headache, nausea, vomiting, unconscious-ness, oculomotor nerve palsy and so on before being admitted to hospital. All cases of intracranial aneurysms were confirmed through DSA and (or) CTA and (or) MRA exam.114cases were successful in the postoperative follow-up. These114cases were analyzed retrospectively and were followed up about the improvement of symptoms and the quality of life after discharge. The prognostic status was assessed by Glasgow Outcome Scale(GOS). Preoperative factors such as age, history of smoking, history of hypertension, Hunt-Hess grade, Fisher scale were recorded. Multi variable logistic regression was used to analyze the related factors affecting prognosis.Results:GOS was5in88cases (77.19%),4in8cases (7.02%),3in8cases (7.02%),2in1case (0.88%),1in9cases (7.89%) in the follow-up study.
