Objective: To discuss the Clinical biological behavior of RASSF1A and CyclinA2and therelationship between them in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(ICC) by detecting theirexpressions.Methods:30cases of ICC specimens and18cases of pericarcinous tissues were collectedfrom January2010to September2011in department of hepatobiliary surgery, UnionHospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Theexpressions of RASSF1A and CyclinA2were detected by two-step technique ofimmunohistochemical staining. The relationship between the expressions andclinicopathologic parameters was discussed by the results detected above.Result:1.The expression of RASSF1A in ICC were significantly lower than that ofpericarcinous tissue (P<0.05);2. The expression of Cyclin A2in ICC were obviouslyhigher than that of pericarcinous tissue(P<0.05);3. There was a correlation between theexpression of RASSF1A and Cyclin A2in ICC(P<0.05).Conclusion: RASSF1A and CyclinA2might be involved in the occurrence and developmentof ICC and the inactivation of RASSF1A might also contribute to the invasion and metastasis of ICC. What’s more, CyclinA2might play a significant role in the tumorinhibition mechanism of RASSF1A.
