Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effects of blood perfusion (HP) on patients withmultiple organ dysfunction (MODS) induced by bee sting. Methods: Patients with multiple organ dysfunction (MODS) induced by bee sting weredivided equally into groups: control group and HP group. And control group were treatedwith conventional therapy, while HP group were treated with HP on the basis ofconventional therapy. The dynamic change of kidney function, liver function andmyocrardium enzymes were compared in all patients before and after the treatment, andthe average hospitalization days, case fatality rate and cure rate were also analysed. Results: Kidney and liver function of the HP group turned much better, and myocrardiumenzymes were also improved than those of the control group. Moreover, HP treatmentsignificantly shortened the average hospitalization days, improved the cure rate anddecreased the case fatality rate. Conclusion: Treatment with early HP in the patients with MODS induced by bee stingmay significantly attenuate the secondary organ damage, and effectively improve theprognosis.
