Objective: By establishing rabbit model of cardiopulmonary resuscitation groupincluding normothermic resuscitation, mild hypothermic resuscitation group, mild hypothermia combined Buyang Huanwu Decoction resuscitation group. Monitoring the hemo-dynamic parameters in different periods, serum B-type natriuretic peptide and myocardialinjury marker cardiac troponin T, Superoxide Dismutase and Malondialdehyde, and verifythe effect of mild hypothermia combined with Buyang Huanwu Decoction onresuscitation myocardial injury and cardiac function after resuscitation.Methods:Ventricular fibrillation was induced by the external electricity, afterestablishing rabbit model of cardiopulmonary resuscitation,24healthy adult rabbits wererandomly divided into three groups. Normal temperature resuscitation group (group A),mild hypothermia resuscitation group (group B), and mild hypothermia combined withBuyang huanwu Decoction resuscitation group(group C). The three groups duringCardiopulmon-ary resuscitation were given standard dose epinephrine(30μg kg-1).Group B, and C after restoration of spontaneous circulation induced mild hypothermia.Group C was filled the stomach with Buyang Huanwu Decoction (8g kg-1) immediatelyand6h after restoration of spontaneous circulation. Mild Hypothermia induced by leftexternal jugular vein with1.0mL kg-1min-1speed pump in4℃physiological saline,and with surface cooling, reach32-34℃in15minutes.Observation the left ventricularend diastolic pressure(LVEDP), Peak first derivative of left ventricularpressure(peak±dp/dt), examined the detection of superoxide dismutase (SOD) andmalondialdehyde (MDA), the concentration of B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP)andcardiac troponin T (cTnT) before ventricular fibrillation and postresuscitation(2-24h).Results:(1) Compared with group A, the LVEDP and peak±dp/dt of group B wassignificant in the recovery after the success of2h,6h,12h and24h difference (p<0.05),compared with group B, the LVEDP and peak±dp/dt of group C was significant of12hand24h after resuscitation difference (p<0.05);(2) Compared with group A, the serumconcentrations of BNP and cTnT of group B, C was significant of2h,6h,12h and24hafter resuscitation difference (p<0.05). Compared with group B, the serum concentrationsof BNP of group C was significant in the recovery after the success of12h and24hdifference (p<0.05); and cTnT of group C was significant in the recovery after the successof6h,12h and24h difference (p<0.05);(3) Compared with group A and B, the group C SOD activity increased significantly in6h,12h,24h after ROSC, MDA content decreasedsignificantly (p<0.05).Conclusion: Mild hypothermia, and mild hypothermia combined Buyang HuanwuDecoction can significantly improve postresuscitation hemodynamics indexes, reduce theconcentration of B-type natriuretic peptide and cardiac troponin T of postresuscitation,increase the activity of SOD, and decreased the content of MDA, to improve the heartfunction after resuscitation. In contrast, the group of mild hypothermia combined withBuyang Huanwu Decoction has more obvious effective.
