| Objective:Recent researches indicated that G3BP over expressed in many kinds oftumor tissue, it may play important part in the occurrenceã€progressã€invasionand metastasis of tumor.Our purpose is to detect the quantity of G3BPexpressed in the NSCLCã€pericarcinomatous tissue and the normal lung tissue,and also analyze the correlation between the expression level of G3BP andthe clinicopathologic features of sufferers. Further more, to study themechanism how G3BP participates the invasion and metastasis ofNSCLC.Our research may provide clue for the NSCLC tumor marker andtargeted therapy of NSCLC.Methods:We selected44cases of NSCLC patients whom we had treated between July 2011and December2011in our department (Department of Thoracic Surgery,Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Scienceand Technology).All of them were went through radical operation, and weredefinitely diagnosed NSCLC by pathological examination.26correspondingperiod cases of benign lung disease were choose as comparison.IHC-Pmethod were used to exam the quantity of G3BP expressed in the NSCLCtissue, pericarcinomatous tissue and the tissue of benign lungdisease.Analyze the correlation between the G3BP expression level and theclinicopathologic features of sufferers through the corresponding statisticalapproach.Results:In the44cases of the NSCLC tissue,34cases showed the G3BP highexpression.The high expression rate was about77.3%. The G3BP highexpression rate of the tumor tissue significantly exceeded the high expressionrate in the pericarcinomatous tissue(13.6%,P<0.001), also exceeded thehigh expression rate of the benign lung disease tissue(7.7%,P<0.001). TheG3BP expression level associated with the pathologic type and the lymphnode metastasis of the tumor sufferer. The high expression rate in the lungsquamous carcinoma (90.9%) is obvious higher than it in theadenocarcinoma(63.6%,P=0.031). The NSCLC sufferers with lymph node metastasis also had a higher G3BP expression rate(91.7%) than the oneswith no lymph node metastasis(60%,P=0.033). However, the G3BP highexpression rate in NSCLC had no correlations with the ageã€sexã€smokinghistoryã€tumor sizeã€tumor differentiation degree and the TNM stage of theNSCLC sufferer(P>0.05).Conclusion:The expression level of G3BP in the tumor tissue of the NSCLC significantlyexceeded the level in the pericarcinomatous tissue and the benign lungdisease tissue. The high G3BP expression rate in the lung squamouscarcinoma is obvious higher than it in the adenocarcinoma. The NSCLCsufferers with lymph node metastasis also had a higher G3BP expression ratethan the ones with no lymph node metastasis. All of these results suggestedthat G3BP may play important role in the occurrence and the lymph nodemetastasis of NSCLC, especially in the lung squamous carcinoma. It provesto be the new target spot of the lung squamous carcinoma sufferer. |
