| Objective：The purpose of the study is to probe into the Physical characteristics、theoperational safety and clinical efficacy of Solitaire AB stent，by analyzing clinical effect ofpatients with intracranial wide-necked aneurysms who underwent Solitaire ABstent-assisted coil emboliza-tion.Methods：The clinical data of33patients with37intracranial wide-necked aneurysms whounderwent Solitaire AB stent-assisted coil embolization is to evaluate the clinical effect ofthe Solitaire AB stent.Results: Stents in all cases were successfully placed and released, except one that could notbe implanted, because vascular tortuosity and atherosclerosis is seriously. One failed to beextricated. After retrieving, we foud out that the coil did not prolapse.24cases withcomplete occlusions,8cases with neck remnants,3cases with incomplete occlusions and2without occlusions, all patients recovered well except3cases died and1case with plantsurvival. We got the data of clinical follow-up in29cases for6-12months, with averagetime of8.7months, all patients did not suffer the recurrent hemorrhage and cerebralinfarction; Followed-up angiography was conducted in10cases after6months. Follow-upof angiogram showed that all stents were not deformation, no stenosis occured in parentartery and no recanalization occured6patients with dense embolization of aneurysm.Onepatient’s residual aneurysm neck disappeared, Another got no change. One patient’saneurysm with partly visual aneurysm cavity had shrunk; One patient’s aneurysm with onlystent implantation had not changed.Conclusion: Solitaire AB stent not only is technically easy to maneuvered with higherradial strength, but also is fully retrievable with convenience of replacement. It improvesthe endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms, and enhances the safety of stent assisting coil embolization of complex intracranial aneurysms. Short-term curative effect isdefinitely, but long-term effect needs further study. |
