Objective:To evaluate the feasibility and the clinic effect of the bilioenteric anastomosis with an intraluminal stent. Methods:The bilioenteric anastomosis with an intraluminal stent is described, and a retrospective review was conducted of a prospectively collected database, which included59patients who underwent bilioenteric anastomosis between January2007and July2012. The study includes etiology, surgical procedure, applicable scope, postoperative recovery. Results:All patients successfully underwent bilioentric anastomosis with an intraluminal stent. Mean overall hospital stay was24.9days. None of the postoperative patients were bleeding in bile duct or anastomosis. The short-term incidence of biliary infection was1.69%, and the long-term incidence was13.79%.Only1case accepted the second operation because of anastomotic stenosis and cholangitis in7months.24patients wear dead,22cases were recurrence of malignant tumor metastasis,1case died of traffic accident, and the other one died of sepsis and liver failure, No patients died due to biliary intestinal anastomosisConclusion:The bilioenteric anastomosis with an intraluminal stent has shown its outstanding advantages in clinical preliminary application such as wide scope, simple operation, short time, easy to learn and promote, low cost, etc. This method has certain effect in preventing postoperative complications, and a good prospect of clinical application and development.
