By Biochemical and PCR method to appraisal the Candida albicans thatbe cultured. Then Select each20samples of high caries children from each nation, aftersequence to do genotype. Results:(1) The frequence of Candida albicans from Chinese ishigher than that of Urghur.(2) The frequence of Candida albicans from boy is higher thanthat of girl.(3)The frequence of Candida albicans isolated from ECC group is higher thanthat of the non-caries group. The frequence of Candida albicans increased with the dmft’srate. Conclusion: The oral Candida albicans distribution is different in ethnic and genderside. There is a significant association between the presence of Candida albicans andcaries. Candida may be one of the important cariogenic microorganisms.
