[Objectives]294teeth with only occlusal caries were selected, the caries treatment was carried in vitro to compare the filling time and the edge sealing leakproofhess, which were estimated by various combinations of different methods of removing decayed tooth combine with different adhesive systems and filling materials. This study aims to find out a more effective solution to keep over a long-term filling after ART, and promote ART in backward economy regionsm where lack of midical resources.[Methods]1、All the teeth were carried removing and filling treatment,and the operating time was recorded. According to the standard of ISO/TS11405, the filled tooth samples were put into water bath of0-5℃and50-55℃to finish temperature cycle for500times,15seconds each.2、One tooth was randomly selected from each group for SEM observation.3、The remaining tooth samples were put into37℃1%methylene blue solution for24h to finish the dye penetrate test. The dyed teeth were split from the middle of infill vertically to evaluate the sample infill edge dye penetration under the stereoscopic microscope. Experimental results were analyzed under SPSS19.0by using completely randomized design and single factor variance analysis, nonparametric rank and test result, chi-square test, t test, descriptive analysis.[Results]1. Removing time:there was no significant difference in caries removal in groups of ART and the traditional rotating instruments treatment(P>0.05), but there was significant difference between ART and traditional rotating instruments treatment (P<0.05). Filling time:there was no significant difference in caries filling in groups of GIC、groups of XenoⅢ、groups of Easy one、and groups of Single Bond2, but there was significant difference between group GIC、XenoⅢ、Easy one. Single Bond2. The results showed the operation time of GIC group was the shortest, but the time of Easy one group was shorter than Xeno Ⅲ one in all of groups used self-etching system. And the time of Single Bond2groups used total-etching system was the longest.2. SEM results showed that, whatever adopting any combination mode, the distribution of the bonding agent was evenly continuous. The gaps between the filling material and tooth tissue in group GIC was the biggest, and the Xeno Ⅲ was the second, while the Easy one and Single Bond2groups were the smallest.3. There was no significant difference in edge dye penetration in groups of GIC、groups of XenoⅢ、groups of Easy one、and groups of Single Bond2(P>0.05), but there was significant difference between group GIC、XenoⅢ、Easy one. Single Bond2(P<0.05). The results showed the degree of infill edge dye penetration of GIC group was the most serious, and the Xeno Ⅲ was the second degree, while Easy one and Single Bond2groups were the lightest.[Conclusions]1. Under the premise of the same bonding system and filling material for the occlusal surface cavity, there was no significant difference between ART and traditional rotating instruments treatment in the edge sealing leakproofness, while the operation time of ART prolonged.2.Combined utilization with the bonding system and Compomer or the Light-cured composite resin in ART, the infill edge sealing could be significantly improved.3.Self-etching system Adeper Easy One could obtain as the same edge sealing closure as acid etch Bond system Single Bond2, and Easy One can effectively shorten the operation time, also reduce the tooth irritation, which is a kind of more suitable bonding system for ART.4.The acid etch bonding system Xeno Ⅲ hadn’t get as the same edge sealing closure as acid etch bonding system Single Bond2,which was not recommended for ART.5.Under the same bonding system, there was no significant difference in the edge sealing closure between compomer and Light-cured Composite Resin, so compomer was recommended to use in ART.6.1t is recommend that using compomer together with self-etching bonding system Adeper Easy One, and combined with LED light curing system were the best combination, which can reduce clinical operation time, reduce the tooth irritation and improve the edge sealing. But the clinical effect need to be studied by further researches.
