Objective:This study was designed to discuss the relationships between malignant tumor and venous thromboembolism and its diagnosis and comprehensive treatment methods. Methods:Retrospective analysis93patients of malignant tumor with venous thromboembolism which were hospitalized in the vascular surgery department of The tianhe hospital, from sep2009to sep2011. The research object include etiology, clinical manifestations, imaging results (including color Doppler or lower extremity venography).Result:In this research, breast cancer is the first common tumor(20patients,21.5%), the next were cervical cancer(11patients,11.8%),gastric cancer(10patients,9.7%),and lung cancer (10patients,9.7%). Lower extremity deep vein thrombosis is more common(80patients,86%).Swelling, pain relieved and D-Dimer return to normal were discharge standard.the treatment method is same to the non tumor patients, low molecular heparin anticoagulant therapy is the most importment.A subset of patients (34patinents,36.6%)were given thrombolytic therapy, using urokinase from peripheral venous.Symptoms relieved in68patients and discharged from hospital,10patients improvement were not obvious and were Admitted to hospital again.2patients died of multiple organ function failure. Duration of anticoagulant therapy were at least one year. Conclusion:In this study, risk factors, diagnosis, prevention and prognosis of malignant tumor with venous thrombosis patients were discussed, Confirmed the exact curative effect of low molecular heparin and warfarin in prevention and cure of malignant tumor with venous thrombosis, Improved the prevention awareness of malignant tumor with venous thrombosis, improving the prognosis of patients with tumor. And proved malignant tumor patients were easier to happen venous thrombosis, more seen in breast cancer. At the same time, the incidence of VTE patients with malignant tumor is higher than the general population. Anticoagulant treatment was the most important therapy in the acute phase, thrombosis is easy to break out repeatedly. Duration of anticoagulant therapy were long than non tumor patients, some patients need lifelong anticoagulation.
