Chinese herbal compound has a long history which could be traced back to Spring and Autumn and Warring Stage Period. In Internal Classic of Huang Di recorded prescription. The Compatibility Theory of Chinese Traditional Medicine firstly recorded in Drug achievements of Shennong’s Herbal. The experiences in drug application in Treatise on Febrile Diseases become the paragon of prescription. Chinese herbal compound is on the guide of the Basic Theory of TCM, according to clinical, according to the methods of formulation, combined use of two and more herbs, to treatment. The theory of Compatibleness for Traditional Chinese Medicine should include Qi-Qing; Traditional Chinese Medicine incompatibility; principal, assistant, complement and mediating guide; as well as pharmacological, pharmacodynamics and toxicology research on compatibleness. Research contents include two parts:the first part of eighteen incompatible medicaments, nineteen medicaments of mutual an-tagonism of modern research journal literature; second part of other herbs incompatibility literature.ObjectiveResearch objective is on the basis of literature, analysis and study of the ancient and modern people to the knowledge about Compatibleness for Traditional Chinese Medicines, conscientiously summarize the herbs of the compatibleness for Traditional Chinese Medicines which include the drug groups of "Eighteen incompatible medicaments" and "Nineteen medicaments of mutual antagonism".MethodsThis study adopts literature research methods. The traditional literature research methods pays attention to explore, collection, classification, arrangement, assembly, review and concussing academic point of view of the original firsthand material. This study adopts intercept original material of ancient books methods, which make the best of aggregated the ancient books of Traditional Chinese Medicines. The modern literature research was conducted CNKI on compatibleness for TCM.Results1Ginseng with Veratrum compatibility, does not increase the toxicity of resveratrol, resveratrol did not reduce the emetic effect.
