Objective:The purpose of this study is to apply the system of modern post evaluation to the management of nursing post, and use the way of combination qualitative and quantative methods to value evaluation of a three level genetal hospital,and provide the basis for compensation management,post management, nursing human resources management reference.Methods:This research has worked out an evaluative dimension and weighted coefficient for the post evaluation form on the basis of existing literature and our expert group discussion under the guidance of post evaluation theory.28specialists in our hospital have organized together to evaluate the hierarchy of values in all nursing positions. After the evaluation, we ultimately formulate the job value for all the nursing positions in accordance with the weighted coefficient and which reliability has been verified by the method of Kendall coefficient of concordance. Results:We discuss the post evaluation of all the276nursing positions in our hospital in the research. The results suggest that:in a same department,the sort of the value:matron>specialist nurse>care leader>senior nurse>junior nurse> assistant nurses; at the same level:the responsibility、pressure、high-risk department post value is significantly higher thean other departments;the coefficient of the relative value of the various department postitions to provide a reference for the porfessional development of nurses. The Kendall coefficients of concordance of the evaluation results from28specialists are greater than0.7, and the piecemeal significance are at0%level.Conclusions:We have clarified the value order of the nursing positions between different post nature and work details through the evaluation of276nursing positions in our hospital, which may provide the basis for post management and performance examination. The high levels of Kendall coefficients of concordance between the results of28specialists have demonstrated a great expert cognitive credibility for the nursing positions of the whole hospital.
