Objective: To observe clinical analysis of human chorionic gonadotropin treatmentfor cryptorchidism in children. Methods: From Nov.2011to Oct.2013,113cases ofcryptorchidism received human chorionic gonadotropin treatment, stratified analysisincluding nation, age, unilateral or bilateral cryptorchidism and site was adopted toevaluate clinical curative effect. Results: The effective rate of cryptorchidism was60.7%,the effective rate of bilateral cryptorchidism treated with HCG was79.6%and that ofunilateral cryptorchidism was48.8%, there was significant difference between the tworates (P<0.05); HCG for children with cryptorchidism between the ages of three and sixhad good effective rate reached to70.5%, there was significant difference between the tworates (P<0.05); The effective rate was68.0%for low cryptorchidism which includescryptorchidism of the inguinal canal and below external inguinal ring. While in highcryptorchidism group the effective rate only was11.1%, there was significant differenceamong the two rates (P<0.05); The effective rate for cryptorchidism of Uyghur nationalitywas62.5%and that of the Han nationality was53.1%. There was no significant differenceamong the two rates (P>0.05). Conclusion: HCG is effective in treating cryptorchidismpatients, especially for bilateral or low cryptorchidism in children aged3~6years old.
