Objective:To investigate the relationship between significance of prenatalsonographic diagnosis of fetal critical value ventriculomegaly. Methods:Choose the20th~24th week pregnant women and do systematic ultrasonic inspection found268caseswith critical value of ventricular dilation (lateral ventricle within6mm~10mm), fetuseslateral ventricle expansion and followed with other abnormalities were observed underultrasound dynamically in the middle and late pregnancy, comparing with98mildventriculomegaly and384normal fetuses separately(<5mm). Result:There are268caseswith critical value ventricular expansion,22cases combined with deformity,125caseslapse to normal,15cases with induced labour, postnatal abnormal development neonatal14cases.98cases of mild ventricular expansion,20cases combined with deformity,24cases lapse to normal,12cases with induced labour, postnatal abnormal developmentneonatal13cases. Difference of the two gourps are significant (P<0.05). Differencebetween critical value ventricular expansion group and normal group was statisticallysignificant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The prognosis of critical value ventricular expansionfetuses and healthy newborn is better than mild ventricular expansion fetuses, but therewas still risks comparing with normal fetuses, attention should be paied.
