Objective: Holded an inquiry into the Constitution of Traditional ChineseMedicine of hyperuricemia, then analysing the distribution characteristics ofConstitution of Traditional Chinese Medicine of hyperuricemia, in order to grasp thesusceptible Constitution, then provide the basis for the prevention and treatment ofhyperuricemia. Methods: By epidemiological cross-sectional study, selecting392cases ofpatients with hyperuricemia in strict accordance with inclusion and exclusioncriteria. The patients come from rheumatology outpatient and clinical departmentinpatient of Yunnan province hospital of TCM from January2012to December2012.The inquiries include general information, constitution of TCM, blood lipids, blood glucose, uric acid, urea nitrogen, creatinine and complications, then establishinga database, finally using SPSS18.0statistical package for statistical analysis.Result:①In392cases of hyperuricemia, there are291male(74.23%), and101female(25.77%), the ratio of male to female is2.9:1.0.②The age of patients withhyperuricemia are between12-87years old, with an average age of59years old;③According to body mass index, hyperuricemia tends to overweight and obese bodytype;(P=0.163>0.05);④Men hyperuricemia mainly between60-69years old(21.43%),women are mainly between70-79years old(14.29%),(P=0.000<0.05);⑤Blood uricacid level mainly between375-599μmol/L;⑥Blood uric acid is more associated withincreased triglyceride and low-density lipoprotein, with increased glucose between theages of60-79years old at the same time;⑦Hyperuricemia is more associated withincreased blood urea nitrogen and hypertension;⑧The distribution proportion ofConstitution of Traditional Chinese Medicine of patients with hyperuricemia are as follows: tanshi quality>shire quality>yangxv quality>qixv quality>pinghequality>xueyu quality>yinxv quality>qiyu quality>tebing quality.there are108casesof tanshi quality(27.55%),86cases of shire quality(21.94%),60cases of yangxvquality(15.31%),35cases of qixv quality(8.93%),31cases of pinghe quality(7.91%),25cases of xueyu quality(6.38%),21cases of yinxv quality(5.36%),17cases of qiyuquality(4.34%),9cases of tebing quality(2.30%);⑨There are correlation betweencrea, age and glu. P(CREA)=0.000<0.05, P(age)=0.000<0.05, P(GLU)=0.042<0.05,there is statistically significance. Conclusion: The results of this study show that the hyperuricemia tends to males, this is possibly because male hormones promote kidney uric acid reabsorption andinhibit renal excretion of uric acid, the effect of estrogen is just the opposite related.Overweight and obese body prone to hyperuricemia, hyperuricemia more associatedwith increased triglyceride and low-density lipoprotein, and elderly patients withhyperuricemia often accompanied by increased fasting blood glucose, blood ureanitrogen and creatinine, the most common complication is hypertension; Thedistribution proportion of Constitution of TCM of patients with hyperuricemia aretanshi quality, shire quality and yangxu quality. There are correlation betweencreatinine, age and glucose.
