The Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring System Design And Implementation

With the climax of developing new drugs all over the world, the variety of the drugwas increasing. Meanwhile,in the process of the patients’ treatment, the doctor oftentake the combination therapy and long-term therapy. In this case, a lot of seriousphytotoxicity accidents occur frequently, which makes people gradually pay attention tothe safety of drugs.In recent years,the state was very concerned about these problems,and proposed tobuild a "National Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Hierarchy ",and the Adverse DrugReaction Monitoring System is one of its core monitoring platform. However, existingAdverse Drug Reaction Monitoring System has the following disadvantages: its hasimperfect functions and poor stabilities; information technology lags behind the needsof the development of the cause of the adverse reactions; the provincial centerinstitutions are imperfect, network equipment is extremely scarce. All these result indata reporting and using difficulties, and seriously affect on the development of thework. The main reason is the existing system’s unreasonable database design andunoptimizable software, and other factors lead to system instability, slow process oreven paralysis; lacking of a standard library, structured worker and structured toolsresult in nonstandard data; lacking of effective statistical summary of the platform.This thesis is based on the needs of Food and Drug Administration TechnicalEvaluation Center,focused on solving above problems, research the construction of theAdverse Drugs Reactions Monitoring System based on B/S structure as well as thekey technologies of the system, and realize the system with related technologies. Theestablishment of the system, is helpful to staff to collect the data of adverse drugreaction reporting stably and fast, process irregular data, statistic and summary thecollected data,exchange data with other monitoring platform and provincial centers,share data with National Center, provincial centers, experts and external units.
