Objective This study is to record the gene test results of the tumor, which is based on lung cancer xenotransplanted animal models with individual characteristic, to provide an effective experimental method for further individualized therapy study. Methods BALB/c nude mouse were injected with fresh non-small cell lung cancer tumor which was derived from patient within6hours after surgery. This is the first generation. Repeat this method to gain the third generation. Test the tumor in the third generation with PCR-ASO, to observe mutation of EGFR DNA and expression of RRM1mRNA and TUBB3mRNA.Results According to gene test result of3animal tumor models, the mutation of EGFR DNA, the expression of RRM1mRNA and TUBB3mRNA were different.2models respectively showed mutation of EGFR18and EGFR21expressed region; no EGFR DNA mutation was found on the other model.1model’s RRM1mRNA was on high expression of state, the other2models’were on low expression. All3models’ TUBB3mRNA showed low expression of state. Conclusion The method of xenotransplanting individual characterized human lung cancer tumor to immune deficient mice is easy, reliable and repeatable. The gene mutation and expression of tumor is different as well. The establishment of individual characterized animal model provides a new effective method to study and judge therapies of non-small cell lung cancer, and the further research on individual characterized therapies of lung cancer.
