ObjectiveThis paper aims to compare the childbirth time, difficulty and injury of infant between new type of delivering head and traditional methods of delivering head on the period of single fetal head position elective cesarean section and the early application of labour. Moreover, on the application of new technology, author demonstrates the principle, method and attention, respectively. Finally, discuss the clinical efficacy and safety of new head delivery device applied to help delivery fetal head.MethodSelect the240data of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Tianjin Fourth Hospital of cesarean section during two years(2010.6-2012.6). The criteria of selection:full-term pregnancy, single fetal head position, elective or labor early(Cervix open=lcm). The criteria of exclusion:the placenta, placenta previa abruption, fetal distress, pregnancy hypertension, pregnancy complications and so on.240cases were randomly divided into two groups, study group (fetal head group)includes120cases, control group (traditional method group) includes120cases. On maternal age, body mass index, parity, gestational age, fetal presentation of abdominal incision and operation mode, the data of two groups has no obvious difference, can not be used to statistical analysis (P>0.05). Therefore, this paper evaluates the clinical effect of new technology in delivery time, the incidence of difficulty in delivering head, uterine incision laceration, hemorrhage, neonatal birth weight, neonatal asphyxia and wet lung.Result1Childbirth time and postoperative bleeding of study group is significantly lower than control group, the data of the part can be used to statistical analysis (P<0.01).2The incidence of uterine incision laceration in study group is significantly lower than control group. They have statistic significance (P<0.05).3The difficulty of delivering head of fetus has not happened in study group, it has statistical significance compared with control group (P<0.05).4In study group, the asphyxia of newborn has not appeared, and the neonatal wet lung is only1case, it has statistical significance compared with control group (P<0.05). Moreover, the neonatal scalp hematoma, intracranial bleeds and facial injuries have not appeared in both of two groups, these prove the safety of the application of new technology.5There is no significant differences in birth weight of two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion1Application of the new device in the single fetal head position during elective cesarean section and the early application of labour can significantly shorten childbirth time, reduce the difficulty in delivering head and the occurrence of asphyxia and neonatal wet lung injury.2The use of new device can significantly reduce the uterine incision laceration, shorten operation time and reduce the postoperative bleeding3Application of the fetal head new technology for delivering fetal head, it has changed the traditional cesarean section delivery head mechanism. the operation time is shorter, bleeding loss and uterine incision laceration and maternal injury are all less.its shorter in childbirth time and its lower in the incidence of newborn injury.4The delivery device has a smooth surface, its spoon bending radian is adapt to the fetal head radian, its conducive to fetal head slide in, and fully guarantee the safety of application of the delivery device.5In the single fetal head position during elective cesarean section and the early application of labour, its suitable particularly for floating fetal head, and its applicable to the position of the fetus to occiput presentation. its also applied theoretically in the twins cesarean section, but we lack the clinical practic cases, need the further studies on it.
