Objection:To treatment of ventricular septal defect with VSD occlude through transesophageal echocardiogram, and observe the parameters of heart function before and after the operation. To evaluate the feasibility and superiority of the operation through the esophagus ultrasound.Methods:50childs with ventricular septal defect are chosen, including28cases with men,22cases with women, which are in hospital between March to July in2012. The age of them is11month~8years,the weight of them is6-28kg. After general anesthesia, plugging VSD with VSD occlude transesophageal echocardiogram. Before plugging, measuring the position of VSD and the relationship of adj acent structure; Measuring the bloodstream of pulmonary vein, and recording the number of S、D、A. After plugging, Measuring the bloodstream of pulmonary vein again, recording the number of S、D、A. Recording the time of operation and the amount of bleeding. Recording the number of EF、FS、LVDD, which measuring by ultrasonic cardiogram through chest. Results:The operations are successful in all patients except three patients, which are checking again by TEE is not suitabale for plugging. There is no significant difference between the number of EF、FS、LVDD, which is measured before and after the operation (P>0.05), but there is significant difference between the number of S、 D、A, which is measured before and after the operation (P<0.05).Conclusion:TEE can strengthen this kind of operation indications screening, it can real-time dynamic monitoring of heart function, so as to guide the whole operation completed safely, it able to evaluate surgery effect immediately after the operation,so in such surgery TEE has higher application value. To detect pulmonary vein blood flow spectrum in the operation by TEE, can detect the changes of heart function earlier, thus improving the safety of operation.
