Objective: To aim of this study was to investigate the correlation between fatliquefaction and surgical site infection following Gastrointestinal surgicalMethods: Select the General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region, GeneralSurgery abdominal gastrointestinal surgery in May2011to February2012all patientswith incision oozing. Samples were collected after disinfection of the incision on theculture medium for bacteria, repeated acquisition of three patients after gastrointestinalsurgery incision oozing. Observed under the microscope in the secretion of fat stainingfat droplets in the situation. Exudation in patients, according to the situation of thedisease and wound dressing, and continuous culture for pathogens and identification, until the cultured pathogen (such as train aureus did not meet the SSI diagnostic criteriais considered to be pollution, need to continue to train) or incision infiltration out thestops. With reference to the diagnostic criteria of FL and SSI, it can be divided into theFL group, the SSI group and the FL+SSI group. Design their own patients in eachgroup of tables of statistics, detailed and accurate fill in the relevant indicators. Thenumber of cases in each group, fat liquefaction time of the FL Group and the FL+SSIgroup. Incision oozing time of the SSI group and the FL+SSI group, strain compositionof the SSI group and the FL+SSI group.Results:1,The number of cases in each group: the FL group was12patients, accountingfor25%of the patients with exudative;the SSI group was14cases, accounting for29.17%of the patients with exudative;the FL+SSI group was22cases, accounting for45.83%of the patients with exudative.2, The time of fat liquefaction: the FL group was6.08±1.56days, the FL+SSI group was9.91±1.69days, the difference between two groups was statisticallysignificant (p<0.01).3, Incision oozing time: the FL group was6.08±1.56days, the SSI group was13.36±2.84days, the FL+SSI group was21.07±3.43days, pair wise differences amongthe three groups were statistically significant (p<0.01).4, Strain composition: the SSI group was Escherichia coli and Enterococci, theFL+SSI group was Staphylococcus.Conclusion:1, Postoperative incision oozing to open gastrointestinal surgery, it is surgical siteinfection by a large majority, there is little pure fat liquefaction, the longer with fatliqueffaction and the greater likelihood to become infected, it is also longer of incisionoozing.2, Early stage of incision infection to open gastrointestinal is an infection of theendogenous, late exogenous infection.
