Objective: The phenomenon of Mycoplasma Pneumoniae infection complicatedwith Epstein-Barr virus infection is very common. Lung damage and multi-organ injuryof MP infection complicated with EBV infection is more serious than pure MP infection.More and more attention to that immune disorder is a very important way foroccurrence and development of mycoplasma pneumonia. We want to analysis theclinical characteristics of mycoplasma pneumonia, EBV infection and MP infectioncomplicated with EBV infection. We also want to explore the immune status ofmycoplasma pneumonia and the relationship between MP infection and EBV infection,so we can choose a very reasonable treatment scheme for MP infection complicatedwith EBV infection.Methods:105of the children admitted to the pediatric ward of the secondAffiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University from January2011to January2012were selected randomly, among which there were37children diagnosed EBV infection,32with diagnosed MP infection complicating with EBV infection,36children with MPinfection. Clinical data of the children was collected and analyzed for our study, including routine blood, liver function, myocardial enzymes, lung imagingcharacteristics and routine urine. Moreover21of the children diagnosed MPP wereselected randomly. And we detected CD4, CD8and interleukin-6of these children. Wecompared the data with healthy children.Results:1.989of the pneumonia patients were admitted to our pediatric wardfrom January2011to January2012, among which there were265patients diagnosedwith mycoplasma pneumonia. The incidence of mycoplasma pneumonia was26.79%.2. The most common age of onset of mycoplasma pneumonia and mycoplasmapneumoniae infection complicating with Epstein-bar virus infection is the school-age. 3. The chance of liver function abnormal, big leaf realvariable and urine abnormalin children with mixed infections was higher than that of EB infection group and MPinfection group. The rate of neutrophils decreased was higher than that of EB infectiongroup, but showed no significant differences compared to MP infection group. The rateof CK-MB abnormal was higher than that of MP infection group, but showed nosignificant differences compared to EB infection group.4. Compared with healthy children, mycoplasma pneumonia have lower CD4andhigher CD8,and CD4/CD8ratio decreased significantly (P<0.01),5. The concentration of interleukin-6in mycoplasma pneumonia was higher thanthat of healthy children.Conclusion:1. Lung damage and multi-organ injury of MP infection complicatedwith Epstein-bar virus infection is more serious than pure Mycoplasma Pneumoniaeinfection and pure Epstein-bar virus infection.2. CD4/CD8ratio of Mycoplasma Pneumonia decrease significantly, whichsuggest that there is immune disorder in Mycoplasma Pneumonia patients.3. The concentration of interleukin-6in mycoplasma pneumonia was higher thanthat of healthy children. Mycoplasma pneumonia can cause damage to the body bystimulating body to secrete interleukin-6.So it is important for diagnosis and diseasecondition’s evaluating of Mycoplasma Pneumonia.4. Not only MP but also EBV can cause damage to the body by Immune response. We can obtain good effect by regulating immune system when the curative effect offighting MP and EBV is not satisfied.
