Investigations On The Effect Of Weight Factor On Hypertensive Disorder Complicating Pregnancy Epidemiology

Objective:Discuss incidence relations between pre-pregnancy overweight, pregnancy weight overgrowth and hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy. From the weight factor we can propose for interventions that prevent effectively hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy. Then put forward for perinatal care provides evidence-based study basis and directs reasonable diet to pregnant women as well as appropriate control weight to prevent hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy.Methods:This study was cross-sectional study with sampling method. Choosing pregnant women and the ones termination of pregnancy regularly carry out random checks from June2011to June2012in The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Zhengzhou perinatal health care. Select those singleton primiparous women at the age of20to35years old, being gestated from36weeks to39weeks, and exclude patients with hypertension family history and history of diabetes. Those women with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy were diagnosed by the preliminary design of the epidemiological survey of it’s cases (see Appendix1), to investigate60cases of pregnant women with this disease selected as it’s into cases (selected conditions see Appendix2), and to select the same period60cases of pregnant women with normal blood pressure as control cases (selected conditions see Appendix2). By investigating the form of two sets of cases come to pre-pregnancy weight, height and weight increase during pregnancy. The calculated data of pre-pregnancy body mass index and pregnancy weight gain amplitude use χ2test and non-reference test data for the two groups.Results:1. The number of pre-pregnancy body mass index of the women with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy≥24kg/m2is28in60ones,46.67%of the total, and the number<24kg/m2is32cases,53.33%of the total.2. The number of pregnancy weight increase of the women with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy≥6kg/m2is40in60ones,66.67%of the total;the number of pregnancy weight increase<6kg/m2is20cases,33.33%of the total.3. The number of pre-pregnancy body mass index of the pregnant women with normal blood pressure≥24kg/m2is12in60ones,20.00%of the total; The number of pre-pregnancy body mass index <24kg/m2is48,80.00%of the total.4. The number of pregnancy weight increase of the pregnant women with normal blood pressure≥6kg/m2is19in60ones,31.67%of the total; The number of pregnancy weight increase<6kg/m2is41,68.33%of the total.Conclusion:1. The pre-pregnancy weight exceeds the standard (basic body mass index≥24kg/m2) and gaining weight too fast in pregnancy (pregnancy weight increase≥6kg/m2) are risk factors of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy.2. The pre-pregnancy weight exceeds the standard is a high risk factor of the hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy, the women of pre-pregnancy body mass index≥24kg/m2should consider controlling weight. 3. A gaining weight too fast in pregnancy for hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy is a risk factor, pregnancy weight increase should be controlled for no more than6kg/m2.4. To those with other risk factors (example for hypertension family history, older age, hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy had happened in previous pregnancy, bad maternal history), they should control pre-pregnancy obesity and gain in pregnancy weight control.5. Weight as a hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy factor can be controlled, once discovered, they can be adjusted through diet, calorie absorbing and exercises. The abnormalities can be found timely in women of childbearing age through pre-pregnancy check-up and perinatal health care, it is suggested that routine check-up be done in pre-pregnancy for women of childbearing age and perinatal health care as well, so that we can detect this disease early and timely control it.
