Objective:To explore the clinical applications and development prospects of two-hole laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Method:The clinical data of26patients was retrospectively analyzed,which was collected from the first affiliated hospital of Shanxi Medical University from November2011to December2012.Result:3patients were treated by transumbilical single-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy(TUSPLC) and the surgical approach changed to two-hole due to the difficulties gallbladder triangle.23patients were treated by two-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy. All26patients’ surgeries were completed without laparotomy and complications.Conclusion:The two-hole laparoscopic cholecystectomy can be a surgical choice when one used TUSPLC to treat difficult gallbladder triangle and it can also be used as a conventional cholecystectomy procedure. It can become the young doctors’ surgical choices during the period from LC to TUSPLC and it can be the best surgical choice in dealing with some difficult gallbladder triangles.
